L’Étable
Our gîte offers charming, comfortable and practical accommodation for two people in the recently converted barn which has been refurbished to a high standard. The gite is situated amongst the trees in the garden at the side of the main house. Guests are welcome to use the facilities open to the other guests staying in the rooms at Le Prieuré.
L’Étable is newly-renovated and equipped with all modern facilities whilst retaining the character of the original building. The gîte comprises a large living area with corner kitchen and a double bedroom with separate shower, toilet and hand basin. The kitchen area is equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge and sink unit, complete with all necessary cooking implements and crockery. The open plan staircase leads to the bedroom which has a double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe. Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided.
The gîte has its own outdoor area with table and chairs and delightful views through the trees. There is a car parking area for guests staying in the gîte.
Guests renting the gîte are welcome to use all the outdoor facilities. The pool has a large, sheltered terrace with sun loungers and there is a raised terrace by the house. Towels for the swimming pool are available on request.
Evening meals are available should they be required and are taken with guests in the main house (notice needed). Freshly cooked croissants are also available most mornings.
Please note:
A welcome pack is provided which includes a bottle of local wine.
We have a no-smoking policy inside all the buildings.
We are unable to accommodate pets.
The owners live on-site so all queries can be dealt with.
We are happy to discuss longer lets as the gîte is an ideal base for house-hunting.
WEEKLY RATES FOR GITE:
2 April - 27 May; £350 per week (or equivalent in Euros)
28 May - 2 September: £400 per week
3 September - 30 September: £385 per week
1 October - 30 October: £350 per week
SHORTER STAYS ARE POSSIBLE BUT WITH A MINIMUM STAY OF:
3 nights - April/May/September/October
4 nights - June-August
NIGHTLY RATES FOR SHORTER STAYS AT THE GITE:
2 April - 27 May; £70 per night (or equivalent in Euros)
28 May - 2 September: £80 per night
3 September - 30 September: £75 per night
1 October - 30 October: £70 per night
A deposit of 25% of the total rental fee is required on confirmation of the booking.
A refundable security payment of 110€/£100 to be paid on arrival.
We can take payment in cash (Euros) or French/Sterling cheque or by bank transfer.
We regret we are unable to take credit card payments.
